Membership Info
Youth Community Outreach AIDS Society (YouthCO) is a non-profit organization working to involve youth, ages 15-29, in addressing HIV and Hep C. Official Membership in YouthCO allows you to vote at the Annual General Meeting. Items voted on often include changes to Bylaws, Policy, and the appointment of new Board Members. Additionally, official members will have access to all services and opportunities for involvement as outlined in the BC Societies Act and the Constitution and Bylaws of YouthCO. Official Membership is open to any youth aged 15-29 years old wanting to be involved in the HIV and Hep C movement.
There is no fee for Official Membership. Official Membership can be revoked by the Board of Directors for reasons outlined in the Policy Manual of YouthCO AIDS Society (conduct). Official Membership does not have to be renewed annually and will automatically end on a member’s 30th birthday.
